Moving Is More Than a Change of Address
When someone moves, it’s not just about square footage or interest rates. It’s often about letting go of what was familiar, adjusting to what’s new, and navigating all the emotions in between. Whether it’s your first home, a fresh start, or something you didn’t quite expect, these moments are layered.
I’ve walked alongside clients who were ready for change but still felt heavy leaving the place where their kids took their first steps or where they last saw a loved one. These feelings matter. They deserve space.
If you’re in the midst of change or even just thinking about it, here are a few small ways to stay grounded:
- Light a candle in a quiet room and sit with it for a moment.
- Go for a short walk without your phone and just notice what’s blooming.
- Write a note to your future self about what you hope this next chapter brings.
You don’t need to rush through transitions or “handle it all.” You can move slowly. You can feel deeply. And you can ask for support.
I’m here to support you in the practical side of moving, and just as importantly, the personal side too. Take good care of yourself.
